Lace for Men/Hot T-shirts made in Dior-logo-lace

At the Dior show, the history of the French fashion House was dug up from the archives: the monogrammed lace or sheer mesh design,  populair in the 1980s and originally used for women’s ‘intimates’ (underwear) was re-used for t-shirts.

1980s

In the 1980s the Dior monogrammed sheer mesh was considered a bit tacky. Next to stockings and perfume it was the cheapest Dior-item available. It still is tacky now, maybe even more so because we think it’s executed in flock-printed mesh; but in a good way! In our opinion these t-shirts look só hot on men! #thatshot #auchhaben

Dutch Fashion Schepers Bosman Menswear SS19

Schepers Bosman

Last Thursday, 21st of June, Dutch fashion label Schepers Bosman presented their new collection from Paris, France. The Spring / Summer 2019 menswear collection is all about ‘being a tourist in your own city’. With their fashion design Schepers Bosman try to paint an image of a big city, with it’s unknown, undiscovered peripheral areas.

Modern Escapism

Schepers Bosman gathered exotic elements from their surroundings in Amsterdam, which is situated in the New-West part of the city. Fifties mosaics and murals found in that neighborhood have been translated into abstract prints and cast as a layer over Schepers Bosman’s modern, elaborated holiday wardrobe, Dutch fashion at it’s best. Music Cuts Plant Magazine Homage to Pop Icons

MUSIC CUTS

‘The Plant Magazine’ invited photographer Frederik Vercruysse to team up with florist Mark Colle and art director Clarisse Demory to create an homage to music pop starts who passed away, in the shape of a flower bouquet. The title of this series is Music Cuts.

Besides that we love the images and flower arrangements very much; the idea itself is a won-der-ful one as well! The series was published a while ago, in June 2016 in Plant Magazine Continue reading

That Summer in Grey Gardens

At Grey Gardens 1972

That Summer is a documentary made of material shot by photographer Peter Beard in the summer of 1972 at the Grey Gardens estate in Long Island. After all these years, director Göran Olsson has edited Beard’s material into a 82 minutes long movie: That Summer. We guess it must be a celeb gazing flick; starring, Peter Beard, Andy Warhol, Lee Radziwill, Mick Jagger, Truman Capote and of course Big and Litlle Edie Beale.

That Summer in Grey Gardens

Welcome to Grey Gardens…as you’ve never seen it before.
