Hamburger Bahnhof is the museum for modern art in Berlin, Germany. The museum quarters were expanded to accommodate the Friedrich Christian Flick Collection, presented to the museum in 2004 as a long-term loan.

Passage

The former dispatch warehouses located behind the main building were renovated by the architectural firm Kuehn Malvezzi and connected to the historical building via a passage. This hallway replicates a metro with it’a fresh green tiles and original trainstation text.(as seen above) The new ‘Rieckhallen’ increased the exhibition space in a huge way. (read more smb.museum)
