Automobile culture: Gucci

While reading Vogue Italia/July 2011,I saw this add. Good to know there’s a Gucci car! Natasha Poly is resting on this Fiat 500.
“It has been custom-designed by Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini. It also has two-toned leather seats and the exterior of the car features the Gucci logo.” (Oh really? A logo?!)The “reason” for making this customized car; Making more money
“In celebration of the 90th anniversary of Gucci and the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, automobile manufacturer Fiat is slated to begin selling its high-end Gucci-themed car line to what they’re calling ”showoff girls” between the ages of 30 and 40 via UK dealerships. This is one of the first luxury cars to be marketed specifically to women.”(PSFK)
