No Name Yet

Khloe was the last to give birth to a girl the other day, on April 12, 2018 to be exact. Pictures still haven’t surfaced the internet, the name also has yet to be announced. We probably won’t follow up on that, if you don’t mind.

Stormi Chicago

Kylie gave birth on February 1, 2018, she named her girl Stormi (we guess the Stormy Daniëls ‘thing’ will be over as soon as baby Stormi can talk and walk). Kim named her youngest child Chicago, she was born on January 15, 2018.

Royce Reed and Marilyn Hoggatt

Royce Reed and Marilyn Hoggatt

A couple of years ago we found clips of Royce on You Tube. We, at Mimi Berlin, posted a few and here is one more: Quando, Quando, also featuring Marilyn.

Royce Reed and Marilyn Hoggatt; “two of the most unusual ladies ever to grace downtown L.A.”

The makers of these clips are Bill Geerhart and Andrew D’Ambrosio. They filmed the ladies from the 1990s until 2010 at the Hotel Stillwell in downtown Los Angeles and later residences. They planned to make a documentary from this material. Bill Geerhart and Andrew D’Ambrosio’s campagin on indiegogo is closed. But the full-lnght documentary is nowhere to be found…. Maybe you know if they ever finished it or otherwise where to find it? If you do know more please let us know!
Thanks! xoxo Mimi

Caroll Channing

Carol Channing

has such many very remarkable features, we just can’t stop looking at her…..

Why posting images of Ms Channing (born in 1921) today, you ask of us. Well, yours truly binged Ru-Paul’s Drag Race Season 8  last weekend. Bob The Drag Queen is the winner. In the snatch game he impersonated the remarkable Carol Channing, that’s why.

Louise de Vilmorin’s Stuffed Cabbage

Louise de Vilmorin’s Stuffed Cabbage

Marie Louise Lévêque de Vilmorin (4 April 1902 – 26 December 1969) was a French novelist, poet and journalist.

Louise de Vilmorin’s Stuffed Cabbage
1 medium green cabbage2 cups cold cooked pork or sausage meat or roast veal, ground
4 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
1/2 pint yogurt or sour cream

Plunge the cabbage into enough rapidly boiling salted water to cover the cabbage. Boil for 5 minutes. Drain well, bottom up. Separate the leaves and cut out the hard cores. Place a spoonful of well-seasoned stuffing on the edge of each leaf. Turn over the sides of the leaves and roll up. Place side by side in an oiled casserole with a cover and simmer on the lowest fire for about an hour. To keep moist, add a few spoonfuls of broth or water. Uncover and let brown, turning after 10 minutes to brown evenly. Pour yogurt or sour cream over cabbage and cook until heated through.
