As you all know Mimi Berlin is found of dollhouses, (we even once created our own dream-houses) you can imagine our happiness when we stumbled upon these seriously designed dollhouses. We posted our favorite four out of a series of twenty houses, designed by famous architects.
London-based property developers Cathedral Group has invited 20 contemporary architects and designers, in collaboration with artists and other creatives, to design and build a dolls’ house for the 21st Century. Martyn Evans, Cathedral Group’s creative director asked 20 architects to design a dollhouse that includes a feature to help disabled children.
These dollhouses were up for auction, Zaha Hadid’s entry was sold for £14,000.00, to an anonymous bidder (all images by Thomas Butler via, read more> Wired.JP)
