Dutch Design Week 2017 More at the VDMA Garage
Mimi Blogger Team visited the VDMA Garage during the Dutch Designweek in Eindhoven. DDW can be visited until October 29th, 2017. The VDMA building can be roughly divided into 2 parts; left and right. This post is about the work on exhibit at the left end of the venue.

Thomas Eyck Collection presents Christien Meindertsma’s Flax Collection and Label/Breed, which is a “Dutch initiative focused on establishing collaborations between designers and manufacturers and promoting the development of innovative and sustainable interior objects.” (read more thomaseyck.com)
Handmade Industrials, presents Impose Furniture, a series of sculptural tables and stools which are all unique pieces. The furniture is designed with special flexible moulds, a technique developed and patented as the ‘Make&Mold’ technique by Handmade Industrials.
Atelier Mats and Anne Ligtenberg show the Density series (also showing their project ‘Soft Data’ at Sectie-C)
In Stijl; Exhibition. An ode to Piet Mondriaan and De Stijl movement. In Stijl shows the work by contemporary Dutch “makers” Bastiaan de Nennie, Sander Wassink, Stefan Peters, Lex Pott, and NoMan studio, which is scattered througout the building.
