The other day when I walked and talked the Paris way, I stumbled upon a darling exhibit. The contemporary life of modern man in his routine activities, in both cities and in the countryside, captured by the Impressionists.
This exhibition clearly shows the great importance of fashion in those days. ‘A metamorphosis of exterior things’ as Baudelaire put it so marvelously.
