Happy Green Music Doll
It’s always wonderful if somebody loves your work enough to purchase it. That happened with our green Music Doll this year. As you can see the happy customer mounted the piece on the wall of their restroom. It looks superb, in our opinion.
This green object doubles as a music box, just pull the orange cord an you’ll hear ‘Für Elise’ play. Same as the other works this piece is made with discarded, vintage plastics. Also the mouth is just open and round.
This work is a small sidestep from Mimi Berlin’s ‘Important Bagatelles’ or ‘Toys for Girls’ project. A sidestep, or project, in the sense of that these aren’t abstract objects. Also they are visibly assembled and each product we used is still identifiable.
This year this work featured in the green isssue of Woth Magazine
