Yesterday we got a private tour of the graduation show 2015 at the Sandberg Institute, held at the Burgerweeshuis (a former) Orphanage in Amsterdam, which is a wonderful, but derelict, 1960s monument designed by Dutch architect Aldo van Eyck.
Thank You Freundin H.!
The Sandberg Instituut is the postgraduate department of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie Amsterdam. It offers Master’s programmes in Fine Arts, Interior Architecture, Applied Art and Design. The Sandberg Instituut also has so-called (permanent) programmes: Fine Arts, Studio for Immediate Spaces, Design, The Dirty Art Department and Research Master’s in Critical Studies. On show at the graduation exhibit were also the temporary programs to be seen, which started in 2013; School of Missing Studies , Material Utopias ,Cure Master, Designing Democracy, System D Academy, (they invented various catchy names for the programs click to fully understand what they exactly mean)
