Museumvisits Photographed by Mimi Berlin’s Blogger Team

Mimi Blogger Team visits exhibitions all the time. We often take Partysnaps but we also like to like to incorporate the art itself in our photo’s. Over the years we gathered a large collection of people watching the art on show. The moments we capture are special or absurd or just plain pretty. We also like to take these photo’s when we’re bored or when the younger audience is bored. Also if it’s too crowded to really have a look at the paintings (or other form of art) on show, which is often the case on opening nights.

From left to right:

  • Visitors at the Romantisicm in the North exhibition at the Groninger museum
  • At the opening of in the Gemeente museum, The Hague. Couple is reminescing their past friend who’s work is on show.

Shapes of Plants and Plastic in Green

Shapes of Plants and Plastic in Green

A buxus , a planter and an armchair.

Mimi Berlin started using Instagram (@mimiberlin_amsterdam) on a frequent basis a whiile ago. Due to that fact we forget to post the images we make ourselves on this blog. Which, to us, is a shame, since we intend to keep this blog forever and make it our own encyclopedia. The first two images are made by us, the last one is the toad chair designed by Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne. (image via jousse-entreprise.com)

People sometimes ask of us; what is it that you do Mimi Berlin? You keep posting these random images with equally random topics…. Well, we answer, we read these images. Just as important; we edit them, not with Photoshop, but we like to combine images to create new visions or ideas, or to ‘write down’ what’s in our minds, so we don’t forget.

Introducing Beja von Bis With NEON Art

Introducing Beja von Bis With NEON Art: It occurred to us that Beja von Bis has never been properly introduced on Mimi’s Blog. And that’s a darned, doggone shame on Mimi Berlin’s part!

You must know that Ms von Bis has been blogging for over one year, every single Monday, at Mimi Berlin’s Blog. Continue reading

Browsing the net we found Angelique Westerhof’s (Co-founder and current director of the Fashion Institute Arnhem and the Dutch Fashion Foundation) Vogue Blog at vogue.nl (Yes, that’s the newly published Dutch Vogue or as they say in the Netherlands, Vogue Nederland) She wrote an article on the Dutch design label Youasme-Measyou placed alongside are the gorgeous lookbook photo’s by JW Kaldenbach.
Needless to say that Agent Mimi is very happy. Hurray! Now we only have to reach the printed pages of Vogue Nederland and take it from there! See the Vogue blog post “You as me-Yes we Can”
