Yesterday we (Mimi Blogger Team) visited the Unseen photo fair in Amsterdam. Unseen is a small fair showcasing international gallery’s/artists. As we wandered through the booths we noticed a lot of anonymity on show. Faces hidden, cut out or otherwise undone of their identity. The hidden image (with white paint) by Cornford and Cross was the most anonymous work at the fair by far. Also on show; a lot of product photography. Everyday-products such as toys, machines, food and what have you not, were both altered (mostly stacked) or left untouched, then photographed. We took some photo’s for you all of what we noticed.
