Woth Store, The Hague

During the Design Quarter The Hague festival Woth (Week only treasure hunt) store will open it’s doors. These are the doors of a private residence in the van Galenstraat 34 in The Hague. It’s not just any private residence, it is the home of the chief editor of the dutch interior magazines EH&I and MTC Living and her family. They live in a stunning old milk factory in the center of the city

Mary Hessing and her husband Toon Lauwen were inspired by stores like Merci, Corso Como 10 and Spazio Rossana Orlandi and created the WOTH Week Only Treasure Hunt. This department store for a week (16-21st of May) will be filled with the best design and art objects they could find. They created several spaces in their home and placed the products in color schemes in a lovely way. The courtyard of this home is transformed into a little restaurant, foo and drinks are served and made by Haagse Hapjes.
