Henry Moore / Rijks Museum Amsterdam

Yesterday we visited the opening of the ‘outdoor gallery’ in the gardens of the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. Premiering are sculptures by Henry Moore. Amongst 12 other works Reclining Woman: Elbow 1981, is on show, that’s very special because this sculpture hasn’t left the Leeds Art Gallery since its creation over 30 years ago! Needless to say we had a fun time and of course we took some snapshots for you… rijksmuseum_mimi_berlin-17-2 Wim Pijbes, head director of the Rijksmuseum posing with Mrs and Mr van Caldenborgh in the custom designed fountain Hide and Seek by Jeppe Hein.
