50 Years of Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld

Fendi by Karl Lagerfeld, the book, was launched in Cannes On May 21st in honor of a 50 years long collaboration between the designer an the brand. 50 Years! That’s a 1000 in fashion-years!! The “Book” comes in a box including an USB-Stick carrying interviews with Karl Lagerfeld and an extra book with 200 sketches also by Mr Lagerfeld.

Fendi by Karl Lagerfeld, published by Steidl, will be available at Fendi boutiques and high-end bookstores around the world from July 2015 at a price of about €100.-

The Little Black Jacket

Just in time our beloved Globe Trotting Couple, Mr and Mrs J., visited The Little black jacket: Chanel’s classic revisited, a photographic exhibition, at the ArtScience Museum in Singapore by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld. This exhibition has been traveling all over the world since April 2012. Singapore was it’s last stop. According to Mr and Mrs J. the exhibition had a snobbish feel to it but it was beautiful none the less. Continue reading

Fashion Designers with Pet Dogs

We know that it is BonTon nowadays to have a cat, Mr Lagerfeld even has a twitter account for his Choupette.
But there used to be a time, in the ninetees of the previous century for example, when a pet dog was THE accessory Du Jour (see below). Even Karl L. had a dog! For us, at Mimi Berlin, there is no choice, we simply are dog lovers and we’ll stay dog lovers forever.
