Sympany is a textile recycling social enterprise from The Netherlands, it collects and re-purposes used clothing in order to fund charitable projects. The gathered second-hand clothes are being sold a.o. in African countries. (specifically to Zambia, Malawi, DR Congo and Angola) The used clothes are also being recycled into cleaning cloths and insulation material and they are upcycled into ‘new fabrics’ as well.

Yours truly went to Barcelona to visit the festive launch of issue number 6, held at the BD Barcelona Showroom.(The colorful magazine displayed on the grey and black “Monkey Tables” designed by Jaime Hayon for BD Barcelona Design)
Woth number six is also the first issue in which Mimi Berlin worked on Whot’s On: the calendar of things to do of the magazine.
Completely out of character we, at Mimi Berlin, did not make any party snaps. But WOTH did; see them HERE

New Party Snaps: At The Launch of Mirror Mirror Magazine in Amsterdam
‘THIS IS HOW WE DO IT’
Yes! We, at Mimi Berlin, do take “party snaps” now and then.
‘Cause we know you like that!

We visited the launch of the independent magazine Mirror Mirror the other day. This glossy magazine is all about beauty, for women and men. It’s made with a very fashionable approach towards beauty. The magazine is not just about products; the stories behind beauty products, jewelry and fashion are equally important to editor-in-chief and art-director Georgette Koning. The obsession with eternal youth, psychology behind color and trends in jewelry are some of the topics for the first issue. The interviews with perfume makers, designers and make-up artists make a good read as well. Nice!
