K-Beauty Glass Skin

K-Beauty

K-beauty, short for Korean Beauty, isn’t quite the same as European Beauty. (No, we, at Mimi Berlin, won’t shorten that to E-Beauty.) A daily K-beauty skincare-routine can easily run up to 10 steps or more! Also, Europeans don’t want the white wetlook face, it’s populair mostly in Asia.

Glass Skin

Glass Skin is mimicking a young and healthy complexion; clear skin which is bouncy, luminous, transparent, poreless and dewy. This look is achieved by applying a combination of special scrubs, serums, creams, essences, acids, whiteners, gels and masks on your face in the morning. In the fascinating and over-the-top video’s below, there’s also make-up involved in the process.

We are in love with this eggface! And we did find more fascinating video’s @goalmakeuppage on the Glass Skin topic………

How to Spot a Fashion Trend: 1980s BeautyAdvertisements

1980s Fashion Trend

Goodmorning Y’all. We, at Mimi Berlin, are explaining how to spot a fashion-trend today. To make it easy and basic we want to start out with a trend from the past. We do this because it can be verified; obviously this trend is an existing one from the 1980s: Red Lipstick. So we can indeed verify and prove that red lipstick trend in this post.

Chicago Clubkids are Fashion Icons und Pop Stars

Chicago Clubkids are Fashion Icons und Pop Stars

The clubkids who roam the clubs of Chicago nowadays are a special bunch, Imp Queen and WannaBonbon are 2 examples. Two creative persons who express themselves mainly with their own face and body, fabric and paint. They are fashion icons, pop stars, amazing make-up artists and all-round performers.

LGBT+ Community

These ‘Drag Queen’s’du jour, do not only expose themselves in a surreal and graphic way. No. Real Life, out of drag, is shared as well: @ImpKid shows a shooting-hormones-session live on Insta! As you all know; we, at Mimi Berlin, are old, and thus we have “something to say about that”! We aren’t are prudent bunch, we’ve only encountered someone shooting hormones en plein publique once: in a bar. But that was not filmed for an 10K audience! That’s the reason we have to mention this live feed. Guess we just have to get used to the modern way of sharing everything……What do you think?

Eye-dentify with eyelashes

Eye-dentify with eyelashes

What kind of woman are you anyway; Eye-dentify with eyelashes. An advertisement from the sixties of the previous century, by Andrea. Andrea, the brand, we do not know. What we do know that eyelashes are equally important now, in 2017, as they were in the sixties.

We do love this image the women with the nude lipstick and black, big eyelashes, they are very intruiging! Just like the Kardashians; tacky but intruiging…..Just that! Have a nice day!
