Second hand usa: Santa Barbara, CA

Vintage on State Street, Santa Barbara, CA.
Antique Alley,

A gigantic store filled with all kinds of vintage, and some new stuff.
The owner told us this shop is there for our entertainment. It sure was, our favourite on State Street.
Yellowstone Vintage, clothing  mixed with, too much, popular new stuff. A few gems can be found though.
but be prepared for high prices when you find one.
Random, a

‘Sanford-and-son’  kinda store, everything imaginable can be found here, not all vintage, but nice.
Treasures,

vintage everything, but mostly ceramics and glassware. All items are very tastefully displayed.

Dutch Actresses’s Fashionbash (DAF)

Dutch Actresses’s Fashionbash (DAF)

Yesterday (Sunday) we, Mimi Bloggerteam, took a field trip to The Fashionbash, organized by Dutch actresses Halina Reijn, Carice van Houten, Hadewych Minis, Kim van Kooten and some more. They sold their obsolete clothing for charity (WNF) purposes. We were given a full program. After paying €5,- we could listen to a DJ, we could purchase champagne and later on we could get Salsa Lessons. During our wait on our turn to shop, we were entertained by the celebs with updates on how many shoes were left etc. We could also take our picture with the actresses…

……and so we did. We sure can learn something from these pro’s: posing-wise! (we blacked ourselves out obviously)

But, most importantly, we COULD shop! From Spijkers en Spijkers (we bought that from Carice van Houten) to everything in-between Gucci and H&M. Red Carpet dresses had the evidence (photo’s) pinned on them. All sizes were SMALL, all heels were HIGH.
