What kind of woman are you anyway; Eye-dentify with eyelashes. An advertisement from the sixties of the previous century, by Andrea. Andrea, the brand, we do not know. What we do know that eyelashes are equally important now, in 2017, as they were in the sixties.
We do love this image the women with the nude lipstick and black, big eyelashes, they are very intruiging! Just like the Kardashians; tacky but intruiging…..Just that! Have a nice day!
We, at Mimi Berlin, quit smoking the other day. Obsession with cigarettes has taken over our minds; hence this post. The Smoke glasses are designed to have a drink and a cigarette in one hand at the same time; how very functional!
The designer himself
This barware is designed in 1963 by Joe Colombo for Arnolfo di Cambio, which still has the Smoke glasses in stock.
A glimpse at the life of Priscilla Presley, photographed by fans (they seem too candid to be taken by paparazzi but maybe we’re wrong) while she was behind the steering wheel of her car. The collection above must be the tip of a very high mountain of photographs. And how many times did Ms Presley must have her signed her autograph? Must be a mountain of paper as well! Priscilla Presley is still photographed in her car. We found one image made in 2014 (on zimbio), there are probably more images but we like the old ones better, she looks happier in them. The Beatles “Rubber Soul” 1965. Well, look see what we found in the attic! A first pressing original sixties vinyl record album, Thanks to many record collector’s on the web we found out that this is a true gem. Collecting record albums is almost like collecting stamps. You must have knowledge and time, there are so many marks, numbers, odds and what have you not on a record and it’s sleeve, Where was the sleeve printed by whom etc. etc. We, at Mimi Berlin, dove (not too deep) in the subject of our Beatles records.
