BMO is a living video game console, portable electrical outlet, music player, roommate, camera, alarm clock, toaster, flashlight, strobe light, skateboarder, friend, soccer player, video editor, video player, tape player and Chef. BMO looks like a half-Macintosh half-Game Boy Color with Atari 2600 controllers. Dolls by Martine Birobent

Dolls by Martine Birobent

Martine Birobent covers her artsy dolls series called “poupees muselées” with intricate crochet, our favorites are the ones above, in color. Ms Birobent also creates more “dark” dolls which are a bit more voodoo like. We at Mimi Berlin always tend to like more happier work. birobent.com

Helping Hand

The Helping Hand is made from plastic and it’s nails are polished in pink, it has a flat surface and a wind up “motor.” It will move forward if you put something heavy, like a glass, on it! Helping Hand isn’t a toy, on the box it said:  Just wind it up. Ready to go automatically when drink is put on. Stops automatically at any edge – can’t fall off!  Helping Hand is a beverage carrier, coaster, disguised in a mechanical womans hand! Produced by Yone toy manufacturers in Japan.Helping Hand artrotterdam-04433
