“Benjamin Verdonck appeared to float for a few seconds before returning into his hand-built home attached to a tower in the Dutch city of Rotterdam. The equipment which kept him attached to the building was concealed from the crowd below. The Belgian performance artist appeared on the side of the Weena Tower in the heart of the city’s business district on Friday. Since then he has baffled onlookers by throwing feathers and straw out of his nest. A giant egg has also appeared on the street below.
