That Summer in Grey Gardens

At Grey Gardens 1972

That Summer is a documentary made of material shot by photographer Peter Beard in the summer of 1972 at the Grey Gardens estate in Long Island. After all these years, director Göran Olsson has edited Beard’s material into a 82 minutes long movie: That Summer. We guess it must be a celeb gazing flick; starring, Peter Beard, Andy Warhol, Lee Radziwill, Mick Jagger, Truman Capote and of course Big and Litlle Edie Beale.
