The paintings (acrylics on wood) by Javier Mayoral are based on random texts, with just the right imagery added to them. Some are sexy, some are not: but all illustrations a little bit absurd.. So much fun and pretty at the same time. Available from pulpbrother.com. Price ranges from from $150 to $200.

As we speak (January 2018) the ‘Mustache’ painting on the left is still for sale. Javier Mayoral’s production seems high, so it’s maybe nice for you to follow him on instagram: @pulpbrother
The instagram feed of Gustav Brostrom from Stockholm, Sweden, is filled with selfies made of his face covered in different beauty masks at the same time. Gustav mixes facial masks, patches, foams and what have you not, to create lovely images of himself. (yes we know they are called selfies)
Multimasking was the newest rage in 2015, a beauty trend we, at Mimi Berlin, completely missed out on. Basically it’s targeted skincare. By putting on multiple facial masks, or layer them simultaneously on the skin, you can treat different skin concerns at one time. Gustav Brostrom takes multimasking to the next level. Fun!

Mimi Berlin started using Instagram (@mimiberlin_amsterdam) on a frequent basis a whiile ago. Due to that fact we forget to post the images we make ourselves on this blog. Which, to us, is a shame, since we intend to keep this blog forever and make it our own encyclopedia. The first two images are made by us, the last one is the toad chair designed by Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne. (image via jousse-entreprise.com)
People sometimes ask of us; what is it that you do Mimi Berlin? You keep posting these random images with equally random topics…. Well, we answer, we read these images. Just as important; we edit them, not with Photoshop, but we like to combine images to create new visions or ideas, or to ‘write down’ what’s in our minds, so we don’t forget.
Wow, again a great fashion spectacle by the House of Chanel; they created every girl’s dream, a lifesize dollhouse! Build in the Grand Palais in Paris with a green lawn and a blue sky……We also really loved the retro hairdo’s created by Sam McKnight.
